Comino Verified
Know what sits behind the recommendation.
Comino Verified explains the basis of our coverage: human experience, supplied-product reviews, factual verification, AI disclosure and clear separation between editorial and commercial relationships.
What our labels mean.
We distinguish between personally visited experiences, supplied-product reviews, fact-checked information, AI-assisted creative work, commercial partnerships and places we have not yet covered.
Human visit disclosure
A human visit is recorded separately from source verification. A complimentary or hosted visit does not automatically create a positive conclusion; the relationship is disclosed and factual corrections may be accepted without giving partners control over editorial conclusions.
Supplied-product disclosure
When a restaurant or brand supplies food or products without a Comino walk-in visit, the feature is labelled as a supplied-product experience. Comino may review the supplied items, but does not claim to have assessed queues, service, seating, atmosphere or other venue-only factors.
AI disclosure
AI-generated personalities are fictional and identified as such. AI-enhanced visuals derived from real visit photography are labelled. Human editorial direction remains responsible for publication decisions.
Commercial separation
Sponsored or partner visibility is explicitly labelled and kept separate from independent editorial recommendations.
Source freshness
Hours, menus, pricing and contact details change. We keep a last-checked date for practical information so it can be reviewed without changing the editorial story itself.
