Your information
should have a purpose.
This page explains how Comino Magazine handles information submitted through this website.
Comino Passport & local storage
Comino Passport saves your selected places locally in your browser on your device. You do not need an account to use this feature, and your saved list is not sent to Comino.
Information you submit
When you submit a contact, commercial or newsletter form, Comino may receive your name, email address, business name, website link, area of interest and the message you provide. This information is used to respond to enquiries, maintain collaboration records and send requested updates.
Information retention
When you submit a form, Comino may store the information you provide so we can respond to your enquiry and maintain appropriate records. Technical safeguards may be used to reduce spam and abuse.
Experience Reviewer applications and assignments
If you apply as an Experience Reviewer, we process your name, email, optional phone number, age, area, interests, availability, contributor background and application details to assess and manage the opportunity. Approved reviewers have a private account where assignment records, experience reports, editorial feedback and uploaded photographs are stored. Images may contain metadata, so avoid including sensitive personal information or photographs of others without appropriate permission.
Access is restricted to authorised editorial administrators and the relevant reviewer. We use the information for application assessment, assignments, editorial verification, correspondence and publication where approved. We retain records only as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes and applicable obligations. You can ask about access, correction or deletion via [email protected], subject to lawful retention requirements.
Human content creator applications and introduction videos
If you apply as a human content creator, we collect your name, email, phone, area, creative interests, skills, availability, portfolio links, a photograph and a recorded introduction video. We use these only to assess your application, contact you and manage any potential collaboration. Application media and approved creator assignment submissions are held in protected private storage and are accessible only to authorised Comino administrators and editorial staff or the relevant signed-in creator, as applicable. It is not automatically published or attached to notification emails. If you are selected, any permission for public use of your likeness, footage or creative work will be agreed separately.
We retain unsuccessful applications only as long as reasonably necessary for recruitment and related legal obligations; you may request access, correction or deletion via [email protected]. Please avoid sharing unnecessary sensitive information in your photo or video. The website's video recorder only starts after you choose to enable your camera and microphone, and recordings are submitted only when you send the form.

The website uses local browser storage for essential preferences, including your cookie-notice choice. Any optional analytics are subject to the privacy choices presented on the site.
